We are all about patient safety and comfort, and because of that, great care has been put into the design of our new facility to provide a professional, yet comfortable and calming environment. It is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also the safest and most controlled operating environment possible. Our new surgical center has been designed from the requirements for modern ambulatory surgery centers and is fully certified by The Joint Commission. So you know you’ll experience the safest, highest quality care available.

Our surgeons and lab technicians have extensive training in the complexity of the bone, skin, muscle and smile’s dynamics.

We seek to provide our patients with the most forward thinking technology available. The construction of our new facility incorporates: CT scans, 3D facial scanners, intraoral cameras and advanced software, providing our patients with the most technologically advanced and precise diagnosis and treatment planning available today.

Dr. Herrera

Dr. Andrés F. Herrera, earned his DDS degree from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in 1994, where he graduated with honors at the top of his class. He completed a six year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. After completing his residency in 2003, He joined Loyola’s staff as an Assistant Professor of Surgery.

He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a diplomate of the American Association of Dental Anesthesiology.

In addition to working with two of the respected leaders of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery community, Dr. Herrera, received the highest level of training in oral surgery with an emphasis in temporomandibular join or TMJ, full arch dental implants, facial reconstruction, jaw surgery and nerve repair.

Dr. Herrera was among the first doctors in the US to embrace the All on 4 (teeth in a day) dental implant concept more than a decade ago and, has more than 15 years of clinical experience using the technique in his practice. He had the opportunity to train on the advanced implant techniques with world renowned clinical leaders such as Dr. Paulo Malo (All on 4 developer) in Portugal and Dr. Carlos Aparicio (zygomatic implant placement) in Spain.

Dr. Herrera, has a personal passion helping patients in need in different parts of the world, using the clinical skills and knowledge acquired during his medical and dental training. In 2013, he founded and currently directs a nonprofit organization called Alegria Foundation, a California based non-profit organization that provides corrective surgery to children with cleft lip and palate.

Dr. Nordloff

Timothy Nordloff DMD, MD is a California native who was born and raised in Bay Area. After finishing his undergraduate education, he completed dental school in Boston, MA at Boston University. He graduated Cum Laude. Returning to California; he began practicing general dentistry in the Bay Area and then in the Monterey area. After eight years of private practice, he decided to pursue his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial surgery further. He completed two one-year hospital-based internships in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, first through the University of Connecticut and then through Baylor College of Dentistry. He continued his training completing a six year Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Missouri, Kansas City where he also received is medical degree. This training included extensive facial trauma as well as dentoalveolar and anesthesia training. Upon completion of his residency, he and his wife decided to return to the Monterey area for private practice in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.

Timothy is a devoted father of two. When not at work he enjoys cooking, spending time with his family, and outdoor activities. He is happy to be back in the Monterey area and enjoys serving the community.
